This project showcases how creative design and an understanding of national planning policy relating to ‘Permitted Development’ can overcome a previous planning refusal.
At Struan WWADP were appointed after the client had tried and failed to obtain planning permission for extensions to a private dwelling in the Green Belt. By redesigning the proposals to meet the General Permitted Development Order we were able to ensure the development could be built without requiring express planning permission and obtained a certificate from the local planning authority to that effect.
The design for a two storey extension and single storey annexe provides additional bedrooms, living space and an enlarged kitchen plus a separate gym and fitness suite.
This project demonstrates the added value we bring to our clients by combining architectural and town planning skills to maximise development opportunities.
