This significant development had been in the planning stage for a number of years, culminating in the submission of an outline planning application of up to 1,000 homes to be delivered over a 10-year period. The planning application was submitted to West Oxfordshire District Council in 2014.
The development opportunity was conceived by WWADP who approached the landowners and put together a development plan prior to the appointment of Crest Nicholson, as developer.
West Waddy ADP acted as Town Planners, along with Heritage consultants. In addition we handled the required environmental impact assessment (EIA) as well as assisting with the engagement and consultation work.
Expert consultants in landscape, transport and ecology were employed to form the consultant team and work with WWADP in the deliverance of this exciting scheme.
Developer Crest Nicholson are promoting garden city principles which were employed in this design to create a green and open environment.
