This beautiful three storey Grade II Listed farmhouse has been extensively refurbished and extended to include new kitchen and utility functions, a ‘work at home’ facility and on the upper floors new bathrooms and an impressive attic play space for our client’s young children.
Adjacent to the house lies a range of former stables and cow byre. These too have been lovingly restored and converted to ancillary accommodation comprising a gym/ games room, two guest bedrooms and garaging for four vehicles.
The project was undertaken in two phases to minimise disruption to the property and to enable our clients to move into the main house whilst works were progressing on the outbuildings.
Natural materials were specified throughout this project including sheep wool insulation, natural stone slates, lime render and traditional timber windows.
The scheme was designed and project managed by WWADP from initial concepts through the planning and listed building consent process and via competitive fixed price tender onto site works and eventual completion, all within time and client budget.
