West Waddy ADP were appointed to develop a masterplan for Headington School based on three main criteria;
The materplan was taken through two phases of public consultation and included; a Conservation Area Appraisal, Travel plans, Ecological Assessment, Traffic assessment and a Landscape Strategy document.
The project involved carrying out extensive discussions with Planning and Conservation Officers to ensure that the development matched their requirements and responded to the the sensitive nature of the site. This resulted in support and approval from Oxfordshire City Council.
The adopted masterplan ensures a smooth passage through to planning permission for subsequnt developments.
This was demonstrated by the successful application for improved sports facilities in 2014.
