Church Quinquennial Services – Thames Valley

As an experienced conservation practice, WWADP regularly undertakes projects for churches and other religious buildings.

Accredited conservation architect and partner Philip Waddy looks after approximately 30 churches within the Oxford Diocese undertaking quinquennial inspections and repairs as well as larger scale alteration and extension projects.

Typical church projects include the restoration of tower and bells (St Mary le More Wallingford, All Saint’s Chilton), creation of toilet and service facilities (All Saints Lockinge, Holy Trinity Ardington) and specialist repairs to fabric and memorials (St Margarets Oxford, St John the Baptist Kingston Bagpuize). In addition new facilities for worship have been created (Wallingford Christian Assembly, Peachcroft Ecumencial Centre Abingdon)

The preservation of our ecclesiastical heritage requires specialist skills which WWADP offer. However we also have the imagination, creativity and a track record to demonstrate how modern interventions within historic structures can be successfully integrated.
