Oxfordshire architects and town planners West Waddy ADP has achieved Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent to build a swimming pool and leisure complex in the walled gardens of a private Estate in Wiltshire.

Initially instructed to analyse the Grade II listed country house and its surrounding buildings and gardens, West Waddy ADP evaluated the best location that would allow for a series of activities for the whole family to share; including an indoor pool, gym and games room. It was important to the owners that these activities would be capable of constant parental supervision during the day by linking a home office to these spaces.

Associate at West Waddy ADP, Robert A’Bear comments: “The decision to proceed with this design has proved irresistible and it will ensure an appropriate use of the walled garden to maintain the importance of this area for a range of leisure pursuits for the family.”

WWADP is appointed on a full service basis and will be responsible for the full delivery of the project. Works will commence on site at the end of the year with an estimated construction period of seven to nine months.
