West Waddy are very happy to have secured a unanimous vote in favour of this Reserved Matters application for 76 dwellings on behalf of Bellway Homes, with West Waddy’s Hugh Shepherd (Town Planner) addressing Members of the Committee. The project represents a significant step toward delivering new homes following a process of over three years.
Our Planning Team worked with Bellway Homes to secure permission for the application. Despite controversy at Appeal for the Outline Permission and significant public objection, West Waddy’s Planning Partner, Alan Divall, aided Bellway Homes in engaging with local residents. Bellway’s commitment to consultation, going above and beyond what is often undertaken as public consultation, paid dividend!
It resulted in an excellent design that reflects the rural nature of the site and maintains the amenity of existing residents, and brings the site closer to delivering much needed market and affordable housing.
