Statement: The awards received for our work in this sector underlines our expertise

Under the personal direction of Philip Waddy RIBA FRSA the practice has completed many conservation projects involving works to historic structures, listed buildings and scheduled monuments.

Indeed, with a track record stretching back to 1885, the practice sometimes finds itself commissioned to restore or repair buildings originally designed by the firm over 100 years ago! Experience in specialist restoration and conservation techniques enables us to sensitively advise property owners on the most appropriate methods of repair, often utilising cost effective ‘non intrusive’ solutions.

Much of our conservation work involves a change of building use and we always seek to maximise the potential in any conservation project so as to secure the long term future of our historic building stock, whilst at the same time respecting the architecture of the original.
